Prasiolite- a green variety of quartz (also known as, vermarin, greened or completely meaninglessly and erroneously called as green amethyst). Faceted cabochon. Very pleasant sparkling appearance. Facets reflect various bubbles and sparkle cheerfully. Due to its transparency, facets definitely suit this stone extremely well. The color resembles a very light vltavine, if it can be compared to anything.
It is a rare stone in nature. Currently, its Brazilian deposit has almost been mined, so naturally occurring prasiolite is almost impossible to find. The color of this was created using heat treatment. (which is an imitation of how it was formed in nature) Only a small percentage of amethyst has properties suitable for transformation into prasiolite, that's why there is so little of it.
Although it is a transformed prasiolite, it is still a surprisingly energetically pleasant, mysterious and soothing stone. Like all green stones, this one belongs to the heart chakra.
