An interesting stone. Rarity. Franklinite is actually a type of black spinel containing zinc and iron. The stone is a Franklinite rock where black dots (that's spinel) can be found as well as red Zincite, grains of calcite and here also abundantly represented in UV glowing Willemite. It is mined in New Jersey. The cabochon is cut here.

Like hematite, this stone is primarily related to the first chakra.
