Colla wood Indonesia, cabochon no.02

A very rare form of fossil wood, which in addition to the usual silicification also contains chrysocolla, hence the abbreviated name Colla wood / or Chrysocolla wood. It comes from the island of Sumatra. You may be interested in how such beautifully greenish fossils were created: The island of Sumatra is of volcanic origin, and specifically in these volcanoes, there was a lot of copper. During an ancient explosion, the primeval forest was buried by a volcanic blanket, and siliceous and copper-containing minerals (such as chrysocolla), over time, saturated and preserved future beautifully colored fossils. There are not many green woods of this type in the world. Our (no less beautiful) Czech "woods" are mostly earthy, even black, because they are saturated with siliceous solutions containing iron minerals).. in layman's terms. We simply love all fossils, and we are excited when we get our hands on something like this ....

Ground in our house. Can be drilled.

Petrified wood is a powerful fossil, connected to the earth and physical being, just as wood can be used to make many things, so too can a person unexpectedly discover who they really are, what lies within. But this wood has a playful approach to the process, and works through both physical and emotional stimuli. So if you just think about something, it won't help you at all, but if you start doing something, it will be a great guide.
